My paid classes fund my ability to volunteer in schools and hospitals, bringing yoga to children in diverse populations.
As a Registered Children's Yoga Teacher, Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, and Certified Diverse Abilities Yoga & Mindfulness Instructor, I'm uniquely qualified and experienced to offer yoga and mindfulness to children and teens with special needs, trauma, and emotional/behavioral challenges. I'm trained and experienced in modifying and adapting yoga and mindfulness techniques to a variety of abilities and environments.

Volunteering in Hospitals
Yoga can be adapted for bed-bound patients!
Research has shown that yoga & mindfulness performed bedside can decrease symptoms of anxiety, decrease pain, improve executive function in patients with symptoms of trauma, improve strength, flexibility, improve circulation, increase oxygen uptake, and improve hormone function.
